Since 2018, I became a member of Kyo-min magazine students press corps. Kyo-min magazine (click here to visit the website) is a widely known magazine for Koreans living in Thailand, which started since 1998. It provides informations related to international schools, educations, attractions, famous restaurants, laws, etc. This way, Kyo-min Magazine gives access to a wider range of information to the people living in Thailand, and also for the travelers. After participating in 2018 ServICE Conference, my friend and I—who’s also a member of the students press corps—decided to share our experiences and thoughts to the readers, so that other international school students know more about the events and benefits of participating. For me, it was the first time writing such a long professional reports in Korean. The language we use in everyday conversations was different from the language style required in reports. Whenever I faced difficulties related to language use, I asked my friend, who has been in students press corps for a longer time than me. I tried my best to express my thoughts and feelings of being a participant in the Conference, and also the benefits of meeting different students from different international schools.
